Playful Anamorphic Illusions of Life-Size Picture Frames!

Anamorphoses is a site-specific series by French street artists Ella & Pitr, who also go by Papier Peintres, that playfully transforms rundown spaces into colorful settings for people to pose in for a picture. The duo adds anamorphic illusions of picture frames throughout the space from interesting angles. Depending on one's perspective, it can look like a person is walking inside a portrait.

New Anamorphic Illusions by Brasspup

Master of optical illusion Brasspup has a new video out today showing some really fun optical illusions using anamorphic projections. The trick is pretty simple: the photographs are skewed but then filmed at an angle where everything looks normal, but when the illusion is revealed it’s still pretty mind-bending.

Anamorphic Tribute to Felix Baugartner

Brisbane-based street artist Fintan Magee has just put up an arresting new piece in his hometown called Felix Backstroke. In what we believe to be a tribute to Felix Baumgartner's daring skydive through space, the suited up figure is seen performing the backstroke in a puddle of water (or sky). 
Love the anamorphic nature of this. It really does seem like he's floating!
